Es steckt noch Optimismus und eine gewisses Selbstbewusstsein im westlichen Feminismus, der (ich mag mich täuschen) nicht mehr in diesem Ausmaß besteht. Das Buch besteht aus drei Essays. Über Pornographie, Rape Culture und sexual desire wird nuanciert und staats- bzw. machtkritisch geschrieben. Ein gutes, eher Einstiegswerk.
