A hit. Definitely recommend. Got that gonzo journalism/joe sacco write yourself into the story but the story spans time and tells the tales of armed black resistance.
Early on tries to tell you lots in a few pages and is a little overloaded on text but then falls into the graphic novel rhythm we know and love which has you blast threw pages.
The reading list at the end is sick and has classics but also new titles I've never seen. Makes me want to read more, which is a glowing recommendation for any book.
